Terms of Use

1. Scope

• These Terms apply to all relationships between us and users regarding the use of the Services.
• Any separate terms we set for a specific service ("Service Terms") form part of these Terms. If they conflict, the Service Terms prevail.
• By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and any applicable Service Terms.

2. Minors

If you are a minor, please use the Services with the consent of your parent or legal guardian. The same applies to purchasing paid services.

3. Paid services

• Some Services are provided for a fee. Prices, content and payment methods are as shown in each service or its Service Terms.
• In-app purchases are processed through platform providers such as Apple Inc. and are subject to their terms and procedures, including auto-renewal, cancellation and refunds. Except as required by law, we do not refund fees already paid.

4. Prohibited conduct

When using the Services, you must not:

• violate any law or public order and morals;
• infringe the rights or interests of us, other users or third parties;
• impersonate others or defame others;
• place excessive load on our servers or networks, gain unauthorized access, or reverse engineer the Services;
• intentionally exploit defects in the Services, or obtain scores, rankings or benefits by illegitimate means;
• interfere with the operation of the Services; or
• engage in any other conduct we reasonably consider inappropriate.

5. Information you register or display

• You are responsible for any nickname or other information you register or display.
• If we determine that such information violates, or is likely to violate, Section 4, we may change, hide or delete it without notice.

6. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Services and their content (learning data, audio, images, designs, characters, software, etc.) belong to us or their rightful owners. You must not copy, reproduce, modify or redistribute them beyond personal use.

7. Suspension

If you violate these Terms, we may suspend all or part of your use of the Services, or delete your account and data, without prior notice.

8. Changes, interruption and termination

We may change, interrupt or end the Services with prior notice (or, in an emergency, with notice afterwards).

9. Disclaimer

• We do not guarantee that the Services will suit your particular purpose, produce any expected result (including learning outcomes), be accurate or complete, or be continuously available.
• Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for any damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services.
• Notwithstanding the above, where we are liable under the Consumer Contract Act of Japan or other laws, our liability (except for willful misconduct or gross negligence) is limited to the fees you paid us in the month in which the damage occurred.
• We are not responsible for problems caused by outages or specification changes of external services, such as platform providers and cloud services.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms when necessary. Revised Terms take effect from the effective date stated when they are posted on the Site or in the Services. We will give reasonable advance notice of important changes.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute relating to the Services.
